One Direction reunion? Liam Payne raises hopes

The hope of seeing the band One Direction reunite is looking more and more real for fans. In an interview with the English newspaper The Sun, Liam Payne revealed that there has been a resumption of contact between the former members of the band, including the creation of a group on WhatsApp. The information surfaced when he was asked about the possibility of a new tour.

“I can’t say for sure, but we already have a conversation group, which is a good sign,” shared the artist, who is scheduled to present at The Town, Sao Paulo on Sept. 7.

According to Ok magazine, Liam has pledged to reunite Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan to play together again, something that could benefit him in his solo career.

“Liam’s desire to resume touring with the boys is huge. His solo career hasn’t gone as he hoped,” a source revealed to the magazine.

Harry Styles, in turn, does not refuse the possibility of a return of the group. In April, during an appearance on James Corden’s show, he accepted the possibility of a reunion.

“I think the question isn’t just a yes or a no. I would never ever say something like that. If there was a time when we all wanted it, I see no reason why we wouldn’t,” she said.
