During his participation in the program “Te paso a buscar”, directed by Pancho Saavedra, Don Francisco spoke.
Although the show will premiere on May 27, the portal tvdaldía released a preview. In it, the person who used to own Sábado Gigante is seen talking about Nicole and Stephanie’s union.
“We have to adapt to the changing times,” said the 82-year-old communications major, who attended the connection with his wife, Teresa Muchnik.
Mario Kreutzberger, the Chilean’s real name, has made his thoughts on same-sex marriage clear.
“Societies also improve and learn, balance. Historically, the world has lived off this balance,” he explained.
Days after the ceremony in which she said “Yes, I do”, Don Francisco’s granddaughter herself revealed that she was the one who asked Stephanie to marry them, after five years of dating.
“If it was possible before, I would have done it, because for me it is not bad and does not cause rejection. If it bothers someone, I’m sorry, but I don’t care,” he told Las Últimas Noticias newspaper.
She even claimed that if she exposes her romance on social networks, it is to motivate, in a way, those who are afraid to admit their sexual orientation.
“People say, ‘Yeah, you know what, if she or that other person did it, why not me?’ Ultimately, it ends up being an example for everyone,” he said.
“Maybe they think, ‘Maybe because he has a famous family, he’s not going to make it public,’ or something like that, but I always did,” he added.
Although Don Francisco did not post photos from the wedding on his Instagram profile, his daughter Vivi, Nicole’s mother, boasted a video on her account.
“How glad I am to see the children paid and happy! Every day we advance more, just a few months ago this celebration could not be held, not everyone was allowed to love whoever they wanted, but whoever society allowed, today love is love! Period,” he noted in the description.
Don Francisco’s granddaughter always received support
In June 2021, speaking with Martín Cárcamo from the “show” “De tú a tú”, Nicole Numhauser assured that Don Francisco and the rest of his loved ones understood her when she confessed her preferences.
“(My mom helped me a lot) when I told her I like women. I don’t know if I felt supported like she saved my life by not judging me but not looking down on me, being there, accepting the partner I had (…) it was (upsetting),” she recounted.
“Not only her, my dad, my brothers (got me), it was a relief. (…) Even my grandparents, who are 80 years old, everything was always so rich and calm in the family that they marked me somehow,” he added.
