Featherweight’s sudden fame continues to give something to talk about, now it was Julio Presiado who was enraged because he believes that martial corridos are not part of the local Mexican genre, he also revealed the exorbitant amount of money that ‘Double P’ allegedly charges for the show.
Julio Preciado says war corridors are not part of the Mexican regional
The former singer of Banda El Recodo showed his displeasure by pointing out that Peso Pluma’s music is not part of the Mexican regional.
“I don’t understand this kind of music, I don’t know what genre to put it in, it’s not local Mexican and the one who claims it to me who proves it to me, so simple,” he said on the “First hand” show.
“Look, they have some instruments that are used in the Mexico area, like a trombone, it comes cheap (to create war lanes), a trombone, two harmonicas, a tuba and stop saying it, it comes cheap too,” he added.
Preciado made the comparison to a musical band: “We have up to 30 musicians on stage five “little monkeys” charge millions of pesos“, shown.
How much does Featherweight charge per show?
Julio Preciado blew up the alleged amount he would charge for a performance, as he said it is the amount he asked to perform at a famous venue in Mexico City.
“The last thing I heard is that he’s asking 15 million pesos ($878,200) and see if he accepted it,” he said.
