“This is the hardest story of my life. I thought I would only carry this pain and weight with me. I have always kept my love life private, so exposing it in this way is something that terrifies me and stirs deep and recent pain. However, I cannot remain silent when I see people conspiring and creating versions of the abhorrent violence and trauma I experienced. The actress said in the letter that she took all medical precautions after being sexually abused. She did tests and took the morning after pill. There were no physical and hormonal changes.
A few months later, nearing the end of her pregnancy, she started feeling sick and found out she was pregnant.
“It was a shock. My world fell apart. My menstrual cycle was normal, my body too. I had gained no weight or belly. I was still trying to pick up the pieces when I had to come to grips with the information I had a child. A child born of violence that destroyed me as a woman,” she wrote in the publication, revealing that the professional who assisted her lacked empathy for the situation she was experiencing.
After all the mandatory steps, in a confidential process, she made the decision to give the baby up for adoption. “I didn’t have (and don’t have) the emotional conditions to give this little girl the love, care and everything she deserves,” she explained. “You have no idea the pain I feel. All I did was think about protecting the life and future of the child. Every step is documented and according to the law,” she added.
On the day of delivery, Klara also said that a nurse questioned her. “Imagine if a reporter like that finds out about this story?” she highlighted in the publication. Upon her arrival in the room, she had already received messages from the columnist, who did not mention her name. “I talked to him, I explained everything that happened to me. He promised not to publish it,” she said.
The letter was published after rumors emerged when Antonia Fontenelle said in a live broadcast that “a 21-year-old global actress would have become pregnant and would have given the child up for adoption”. After the letter, the youtuber and pre-candidate for federal deputy for Rio de Janeiro questioned.
“I would like to know why they are so angry with me, attacking me for having the courage to quote a story that I think is monstrous, but has become commonplace. (…) As @leodias himself says, people are not indignant at the news and yes to the postman, spare me. If I found out it was through him, now they’re hiding it from him, and if he doesn’t want to talk, it’s also his right.”

The editor-in-chief of the portal metropolisLilian Tahan, stated that “We have exposed the data of a female victim of brutal violence in an unacceptable way. The Nursing Council denies the information leak
