“The first thing that is important to understand: compliance is a fundamental tool for serious companies to provide opportunities for complaints if their employees feel offended or affected by inappropriate behavior. After the complaint has been filed, obviously a compliance committee it has to make an assessment, an investigation. And, if this complaint is proven, whoever made this mistake, whoever did what they shouldn’t have done, must answer for their actions,” he explained.
