The artist has said he has no plans to leave his career as a comedian and musician to venture into boxing
In an interview with Ag Fight magazine, Whindersson Nunes revealed that his experiences in the ring have a greater financial return than he imagined.
For the artist, who bills himself as a comedian, youtuber, singer and actor, boxing is more of a challenge than a long-term career.
He has already fought multiple world champions of the mode, Acelino ‘Popó’ Freitas and his next fight is at Kingpyn Boxing, against youtuber Kenny Ojuederie. In April, he eliminated rapper Filipek and is now fighting his way to the final of the tournament.
“I’ve never made as much money as in boxing, to be honest. Because it also opens up a whole new range of advertising, from brands, people who want to support a new project. Brands understand that I’m a person who can bear fruit in other things, just not necessarily in boxing,” he said.
“Because I’ve already shown that by living the life of an athlete, singer, comedian, actor, I can achieve what is proposed to me. I’ve managed to meet (the financial request). I’m very enthusiastic,” he revealed.

“It has never been my dream to be a boxer, it’s not something I want to follow. There are always people who show up wanting to fight, this and that. I have many fronts I can work on. more and have more fights, only if you were really well paid,” he shared.
“Because I also want and like to work with other things: humour, music, acting. These are things that make me happy. Today I have established myself and I can choose what I want to do. I do boxing because I really liked it,” he added.
