Luciano Huck exposes the past of the narrator of Globo

Damn! Luciano Huck opens the bottom of the trunk and exposes the narrator of Globo with a secret from his past: Find out more details!

SURPRISED! Renata Silveira AND Ana Thais Matos He went to Sunday with Huck this Sunday, 16/07, to talk about the Women’s World Cup, but Luciano Huck has prepared a surprise for the narrator. The host recovered the photos in which the narrator participated in Ding Dong’s painting a few years ago and still snapped: “I was a dancer for Xuxa too”, admitted the announcer.

“Ana Thaís, do you know that we like gossip here in this program?”, began Luciano Huck. “Oh, I’m in favor,” assessed the commentator, who said he was a fan of Lívia Andrade. “Lívia Andrade is not here, nor Dona Déa”, commented the presenter.

“But I found out that it’s not the first time that Renata has stepped onto this specific stage”, continued Huck, making the announcer laugh. “She is now the official narrator of the World Cup and so on, but can you please post pictures of Renata, on this same stage… How long ago Miss Renata?”, churches. “Nine years? I think that’s all,” she said.

At that moment, the screen showed moments of Renata participating in Ding Dong while dancing to the rhythm of Camaro Amarelo, from the duo Munhoz & Mariano. She was even highlighted in the edit for fans to see. “It also has zoom”, observed the announcer. “Very good! Guys, it’s wonderful”, completed Ana Thais.

“Renata, you were dancing there I saw!”, said Luciano Huck after the end of the video. “And not just on Sundays. I’ve been a dancer for Xuxa, for different shows, soap operas… And I never imagined being a storyteller, right?”he replied.

How did Renata become a storyteller?

“Explain to me, please, how was this transition?”, the announcer asked. “I became a storyteller in 2014, when Rádio Globo launched a competition called Garota da Voz. At the 2014 World Cup. And it was a competition only for women, at the time I was doing a postgraduate course in sports journalism”, the now voice of women’s soccer recalled to the Globe.

“And he has a bad voice, doesn’t he?”teased Ana Thaís. “I was having trouble finding an internship in the area, I said, ‘It could be a good opportunity.’ I never thought it would work as a storyteller, I never imagined I would, because I’ve never seen a woman tell a soccer game “, continued Renata.

“But I said, ‘Man, it’s Rádio Globo, maybe there’s a vacancy for something else in there, I’ll try.’ I signed up for the contest, the radio folks called me the next week saying I’d been one of the approved ones. I thought: ‘Wow, now it’s serious’. I ended up falling in love, then I went to study, to improve myself, and that’s where it all started”, the narrator recalled.
