Jesuita Barbosa publishes that she was attacked by her boyfriend and deletes it

Actor Jesuita Barbosa, known for his roles in productions such as ‘Pantanal’, ‘O Rebu’ and ‘Verão 90’, made a worrying statement on his social networks on Monday evening (17). He accused his boyfriend, Cícero Ibeiro, of assault.

In a text published on Instagram stories, Jesuita used the acronym “CI”, perhaps referring to Cícero, and made his outburst: “CI used me, recorded useless things, left me exposed, abandoned me I’m not well and I was attacked by my partner”.

The post was deleted shortly after and the actor did not provide further details on what happened. Images of the alleged attacks were not released and the actor also did not clarify whether he filed a complaint against his boyfriend or whether he took legal action.

The couple

Jesuita Barbosa and Cícero Ibeiro started dating in April 2022, after meeting through a relationship app. In addition to sharing moments together on social networks, they participate in public events as a couple, such as the premiere of Vera Holtz’s monologue, “Ficções”, in São Paulo at the beginning of the year. On the occasion, they exchanged passionate kisses and showed harmony.

In 2017, Barbosa told Veja magazine that he is bisexual: “I’m free and I’m with whoever I want, whether it’s a man or a woman. I prefer not to block myself.” Prior to her relationship with Cícero Ibeiro, the actor was in a seven-year relationship with fellow actor and photographer Fábio Audi, which ended in 2021.
