The attorney reveals he’s looking into new allegations from at least six people against Lizzo; understand
Damn! According to information from NBC News, the lawyers representing the three former dancers of lizzo has received new complaints since the singer was accused of sexual harassment, body shaming and creating a hostile work environment.
Second Ron Zambranoowner of the law firm, are looking into new allegations of at least six people who said they attended the artist’s tour and reality show “Lizzo’s Focus on the Great Grrrls”by Amazon Studios.
Zambrano said the new allegations involve a “sexually charged environment” and a lack of pay for employees. He also said that by examining the claims, he determined that some are potentially actionable, but some are not.
Some of the claims we are looking into may be actionable, but it is too early to tell.”
According to NBC News, a rep for Lizzo declined to comment on the case.
UNDERSTAND THE CONTROVERSY
Lizzo was sued by Ariadne Davis, Crystal Williams AND Noelle Rodriguez, his former dancers. According to NBC News, the lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, is not the only one named in the case. The leader of your dance team, Shirlene Quigleyhe is also accused of crimes by women.
Claims for all damages include: hostile work environment, sexual harassment, religious harassment, racial harassment, disability discrimination, and failure to prevent or remedy the harassment.
Lizzo is specifically accused of disability discrimination, hostile work environment, sexual harassment and failure to stop these issues. His company Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc was also named as a defendant.
