The band The murderers wrote an apology on his social networks this Tuesday 15, after causing discomfort to fans during a concert in Georgia. The group brought a Russian fan and vocalist to the stage Brandon Flowers he referred to the fans as “brothers and sisters”. The statement caused the audience to riot, who blew boos for the band.

In the statement, the group emphasized this never intended to offend anyone. “Good people of Georgia, it was never our intention to offend anyone. We have a long tradition of inviting people to play drums [no palco]”, says the note.

According to the band, the public seemed to be on board with bringing someone to join The Killers. They also pointed out that the phrase “brothers and sisters” referred to all fans of the group and that the comment was “misinterpreted”. “It was not our intention to upset anyone and we apologise. We stand with you and hope to return soon.”

Amid complaints from the public, the singer wondered if the public didn’t see him as a brother because he was American. “Do we all separate the borders of our countries? As an American, am I not your brother?”
