The actor’s sister and stepfather went to the Miguel Couto hospital in Rio this afternoon
Actress Sthefany Brito and her stepfather arrived early this Saturday afternoon, 2, at the Miguel Couto hospital in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro to visit Kayky Brito, a victim of an investment this morning. He is hospitalized in serious condition in the health ward.
In addition to Sthefany, actor Dudu Azevedo also went to the health unit and was moved when he entered the hospital.
The accident happened around 1:08 am. He was hit by a car on Avenida Lucio Costa, at number 4700, near the Barra Bela apartment building. Firefighters informed Terra that the actor had been admitted in serious condition to the emergency room.
According to information from O Globo, Kayky suffered multiple trauma and head trauma. Rio de Janeiro’s Secretary of Health has not yet responded to the report to provide more details on the actor’s condition.
The accident occurred while Kayky Brito was crossing the road. The driver of the car that hit him was identified and forwarded to the 16th DP (Barra da Tijuca), where the case was filed. The Civil Police has opened an investigation to ascertain the causes of the accident.
The driver was referred to the Legal Medical Institute (IML), where he underwent a blood alcohol test. The result was negative for alcohol consumption, police told O Globo.
