Singer Preta Gil worried fans on Wednesday by posting a rant about anxiety on her social media

This bank holiday Thursday (07/09), the singer Preta Gil worried fans by posting an outburst on social media. The artist, hospitalized for intestinal cancer, commented on another disease that affects millions of Brazilians: anxiety.

“Having anxiety is when you go to sleep at three in the morning and wake up at seven with a lump in your throat, a stomach ache and an endless desire to cry”shared the daughter of Gilberto Gilon his Instagram.

The post also talked about the physical symptoms of the disease: “Also, there is palpitation and tightness in the chest with racing thoughts when you are not at fault and suffer and blame yourself for everything”.

Preta has been hospitalized since August this year, undergoing surgery to remove the tumor. However, she remains hospitalized to continue treatment in the fight against bowel cancer.
