Although the authorities have confirmed the threats against the singer, he has not commented on the matter. However, on the evening of September 20, his record company Peso Pluma announced on social networks that his concert in Tijuana was canceled.

“Our goal is to protect the fans and the team. For the safety of all involved we will be canceling our show
in Tijuana. Thank you very much to all our fans for understanding. We love you,” the announcement reads.

Why did Peso Pluma cancel a concert in Tijuana and other places in Mexico?

Daniel Miranda, director of operations at Music Vibe, confirmed in an interview with El Universal that in addition to the Tijuana presentation, Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija canceled his scheduled presentations in Culiacán, León, Querétaro, Puebla and Acapulco for the month of November. with “logistics problems”.

“The dates we have for Peso Pluma have been canceled due to logistical reasons, that’s basically why the events have been cancelled, it’s very sad for the fans of Peso Pluma, for us as organizers and for the artist himself.” he told the newspaper.

In addition, he answered with a resounding “no” that the cancellation of the Peso Pluma concerts had anything to do with the threatening messages that appeared in Tijuana, which were allegedly signed by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

Peso Pluma’s message to cancel concerts

Although Peso Pluma has not commented on the threats he received, before repeating the cancellation of his Tijuana show on his social networks, this Wednesday morning he wrote a message for his fans.

“Please don’t believe everything you see on the Internet,” he said without specifying the situation he was referring to.

The threatening message received by the so-called “Double P” on September 12 was allegedly signed by the Jalisco Youth Cartel (CJNG), which accused the interpreter of “Dancing alone” of being “disrespectful and loose.”
