The drag queen revealed the story while participating in the program ‘Que História É Essa, Porchat?’
Gloria Groove told an unusual story during his participation in the program What’s this, Porchat?From Multi-show channellast Tuesday, 26 years old. The drag queen revealed she “got rid of” the shot of an armed police officer after he recognized her for singing with Ludmilla.
The incident occurred during a car trip from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro, when Gloria was dismantled and, therefore, was Daniel Garciahis real name when he’s not drag queening.
He slept in the back seat with his driver, Davi, driving. When he woke up, the car had been approached by police officers. “When I opened my eyes, the scene was: Davi’s window was open, mine was open too and there was the Rio de Janeiro military police with a machine gun inside the car,” he said.
Because Daniel was not on his horse, the officer did not recognize it as Gloria Groove. In this case, she had to sing part of the song Red and even show a photo from her cell phone and prove that she was the drag queen by comparing the tattoos on her body.
However, the policeman calmed down only when he associated it with Ludmilla’s name. “He made a very dramatic pause, looked at my face and said, ‘Gloria Groove who sings with Ludmilla?’ Then, finally… he was fine,” he said.
“The way it went from 0 to 100 was crazy. I was under fire most of the time and when Ludmilla was my friend [ficou tudo bem]. The bottom line is: sometimes having the right contact is much more important than anything else,” she joked.
