Dayanara Torres announced on September 22nd that she has ended her relationship with producer and director Marcelo Gama, after two and a half years together.
The Puerto Rican made the news via Instagram: “In this phase of my life, I see relationships differently, if it’s not forever, it’s for teaching,” he wrote.
“I will always thank you for the good times we had, the lessons we learned and for believing in me so much. And even though we are no longer together, the respect and admiration will always be there,” he said in his message.

The former Miss Universe was invited on September 29 to El Gordo y La Flaca to present the show with Lili Estefan, since Raúl de Molina is on vacation in Taiwan.
La Flaca asked her friend how she felt after breaking up with Marcelo Gama and she shared that with her maturity it’s easier to recognize when a person isn’t right.
“At our age, at this stage we live, If you realize that he is not the person for you, for the rest of your life, because it’s best to talk about it like mature people and wish him the best, and he’s not wasting his time and I’m not wasting mine,” he said.
“I wish him the best. I respect him a lot. I admire him a lot, but yeah, one must think about one’s future. And I’m fine,” he added.

The 48-year-old model made it clear that she doesn’t need a partner to be happy.
“People think you’re not happy, and no, people, I’m happy, I’m a blessed person, I’ve been through a lot of great things. I am a happy person. My happiness doesn’t come from the person I’m with“, declared and Lili Estefan identified with her.

The model confessed that her acquaintances want to introduce her to a beau, but she was forced.

Finally, she reiterated that she is happy to be single and will focus on her projects in the coming months, as well as her children and family.
