The actress, who became a star after playing the role of Rita in Avenida Brasil, revealed that the attacks have become greater during the Covid-19 pandemic, as she used to get stopped on the street just to get compliments.
“I wasn’t used to it [com aqueles ataques]. Before I didn’t see anything they said, I just went down the street and people praised me. If I didn’t have a phone I wouldn’t have haters”he confessed.
And he added: “I started to suffer a lot of hate when I was very young, it was very difficult for me, I wanted to give up everything. I just wanted to leave the Internet. My mother was desperate.”
Even more, the actress revealed that the attacks were beginning to undermine her self-esteem and, for this reason, she preferred to deactivate one of the social networks, at the time it was Twitter, which today is called ‘X’.
“People talked about my appearance, my body. That’s when the pandemic started, I couldn’t leave the house, people attacked me on the internet. At the time I had Twitter, now I don’t have it anymore, it was the best thing I did. It took a lot of conversations and a lot of therapy to make me realize that these comments wouldn’t make the slightest difference in my life.”, finished.
