Matthew Perry struggled with addiction during his time on Friends
Matthew Perry, who was found dead this Saturday, aged 28, in his home, in Los Angeles, United States. The news was confirmed by the TMZ website.
The actor, 54 years old, at the peak of his career between 1990 and 2000 Friendshe struggled with addictions to drugs such as alcohol and opioids.

“They were like penguins. When a penguin is sick, the other penguins surround him and help him straighten up, walk around him until he can walk on his own. That’s what the cast of Friends did for me,” She said.
Matthew was also taking pills at the time.
“If the police came to my house and said, ‘If you drink tonight, we’ll take you to prison,’ I would start packing my bags. I couldn’t stop, because the disease and addiction are progressive. Everything gets worse the older you get.”
