Natalia Castro, the travel and tourism influencer missing in Africa for more than 60 hours, he found. On Monday evening, the 30th, the influencer shared a video on her Instagram profile reassuring her followers and thanking them for their messages.
“I’m fine! I’ve been through complicated situations the last few days traveling overland through West Africa. I’ve been through Senegal, Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone and just arrived in Liberia,” he wrote in the caption .
According to Nataly, she was harassed at one of the borders and therefore decided to change her route so as not to be followed. “The last video I sent to my family was of me crying after the harassment and then I was left without contact,” she explained.
Nataly also said that the stretch she is traveling overland is an unstructured stretch and, therefore, she has not been able to communicate with her family or post updates on her social networks. As for me, the influencer thanked me for the messages.
“Thank you for the messages, the support and all the help. You are family to me. Anyone who is here with me knows that I don’t need to lie to get followers,” she said
Nataly disappeared after leaving the Republic of Guinea. In 2020, she told Estadão that she started traveling after an exchange and that she had a goal to be the first Brazilian woman to travel around the world.
In her last post on October 19, she mentioned that she had been to Cairo, Egypt. The influencer has a YouTube channel and stopped posting three years ago due to his global challenge. She also mentioned the challenges and racism she has faced traveling as a woman of color.
