Gretchen didn’t hesitate to respond to the attacks on social media
This Tuesday 7 Gretchen responded to the criticism he received for the looks he uses. The 64-year-old singer recorded a video saying she won’t change the way she dresses.
“There are times when I feel too lazy to respond to everything. People worry about the way I dress, the way my husband [Esdras de Souza] get dressed. For God’s sake, the world is at war, there’s a lot going on, Sao Paulo has no electricity, rivers in the Amazon are drying up, sandstorms and you’re worried about me wearing a girl’s dress?” declared the dancer.
“The body is mine, the clothes are mine, the money is mine and I wear what I want. Are we going to worry about more serious things? There are very serious things we have to worry about. Leave me with my clothes, leave me with my way to be, because it will not change”, he has declared.
“I won’t stop wearing these clothes, I won’t stop exposing my body as I like. Do you know why? Because I own my nose. Nobody can help me”he concluded.
