Ana Hickmann released an official statement this Sunday, the 12th, after the columnist Leo Dias revealed that she had been attacked by her husband, Alexandre Correa, in the couple’s home in Itu, in the hinterland of São Paulo. The presenter confirmed the fight and the trip to the police station, but she did not mention domestic violence.
“After an argument between Alexandre Correa and Ana Hickmann last Saturday (11), the Military Police was called and the presenter was taken to the Police District to clarify the facts. Through her press office, Ana Hickmann thanks her for her affection and solidarity from his fans and informs that he is at home, is well and fortunately has not suffered any significant consequences on his physical integrity”, reads the statement released by Hugo Gloss.
On Saturday evening, the 11th, Leo Dias made the case known. According to him, Ana Hickmann suffered several injuries and wanted to make a statement at home. However, she had to go to Itu Central Police Station to file a complaint. The attack allegedly occurred in front of the couple’s son.
In contact with the journalist, Alexandre Correa denied the incident. The entrepreneur’s demonstration took place before the statement released by the presenter. He declared that he was in Sao Paulo.
