The businessman who had a “disagreement” with the presenter this Saturday is popular on social media
On the morning of Sunday 12th, the presenter and model Ana Hickmann confirmed, through a note sent to the press, that she had had a “disagreement” with her husband, Alexandre Correa, and that she went to a police station in the city of Itu, in the hinterland of São Paulo, where the couple lives, he files a complaint with the police. The document, obtained by the website g1, states that Ana reported being crushed on her arm and being headbutted by Correa. The entrepreneur denied the attacks to columnist Leo Dias.
Carioca, Correa, 51 years old, is a businessman and, in partnership with Ana, manages Hickmann Serviços Ltda, which is based in Sao Paulo, and licenses the presenter’s brand on products such as glasses, nail polish, bags, shoes, jeans and other beauty products. The company also manages the presenter’s career.
Ana and Correa met when they were teenagers. They have been together for 25 years and have a nine-year-old son, Alexandre. The two got married after eight months of dating, when Ana was 16. Shortly after, the couple traveled to France, where Ana went to work as a model, a career she followed until the early 2000s, in Brazil and in several countries around the world.
When Ana debuted on TV in 2004, Correa became known to the public for always being in the company of his wife. Talkative, the entrepreneur has also become famous on social media. In 2016, Ana was the victim of an attack in a hotel in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The room where the presenter was was invaded by an armed man who threatened to kill her. Correa’s brother, Gustavo, who was present at the scene, also had a physical confrontation with the man. The invader was shot by Gustavus and died. Two years later, the Minas Gerais Court of Justice (TJMG) acquitted Gustavo and declared that he had acted in self-defense.
In late 2020, Correa revealed that he had neck cancer. The tumor, according to him, was located under the jaw and at the base of the skull. At the time, he underwent surgery and radio and chemotherapy sessions at a hospital in Sao Paulo.
Correa said he decided to make the case public because it had already been recognized in the oncology department of the Albert Einstein hospital and “because of our appearance, which is starting to resemble someone who is being treated for cancer.” he said in a video. “Those who like me, cheer for me. Those who don’t like me, cheer for me,” he added. Months later, Correa announced that he had recovered from the disease.
In 2022, when Ana turned 41, Correa published a post praising and declaring himself to the woman. “A wonderful wife and an exemplary mother. I am blessed to have married this beautiful and courageous woman. Thank you for being with me through thick and thin. Happy birthday. I love you.”
