Neighbors called the police after a “suspicious movement” at the actress’ home
The palace of Bruna Lombardi, 71 years old, was robbed by three men on the night of Sunday 19th. The property is located in Morumbi, an elegant neighborhood in the south of Sao Paulo. The actress was not present at the crime scene. She is married to fellow actor Carlos Alberto Riccelli, 77 years old.
Wanted by Earth, the Public Security Secretariat reported that three men, aged 26, 27 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of stealing from the home, as well as receiving a vehicle and being associated with the crime. Bruna Lombardi’s personal effects were recovered by the Military Police of São Paulo.
The SSP did not specify which items were taken. however, the R7 reported that the list includes jewelry, bags, eyewear and branded clothing.
According to the police report, the neighbors noticed that a man with a “suspicious attitude” had parked his car in front of the actress’s villa and decided to call the police. Once on scene, the officers noticed that the vehicle was stolen and had a tampered with license plate. They then entered the property and arrested the man, who confessed to taking part in a robbery.
Inside the parked vehicle, the police found a 380 caliber pistol and objects belonging to Bruno Lombardi. Two other criminals attempted to leave the villa in a family car, but when they saw the police they abandoned the vehicle and tried to flee on foot. They were also arrested.
The case was registered at the 89th Police District (DP), Portal do Morumbi, as home invasion, tampering with the identification mark of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen goods, illegal possession of a licensed firearm, tracking and seizure of a vehicle and conspiracy. The three prisoners remain at the disposal of Justice.
It is expected that on Monday the 20th the technical-scientific police will go to the villa to carry out the assessments. The report of Earth came into contact with Bruna Lombardi, but received no reply. The space remains open for internships.
