Daniele Suzuki revealed that she was sexually molested as a child. The actress recalled her case in an interview on the Tá Benito podcast.
The artist also commented that, when he decided to tell his mother, who is a psychologist, what he experienced, she told her to “stop causing drama”. “As a child I was molested, when I was 7, 8 years old, by my neighbor. I kept that secret until I was 18 to tell my mother, I thought it was my fault”, she began.
“The day I told you I was molested, I remember my mother telling me to stop being dramatic. What’s the problem? It’s over, it’s over, are you not okay? There are people who have a much worse situation , I can’t Don’t waste time in life with these things. It’s over, it’s over, stop causing drama, move on with your life,” he said.
Dani also recalled that, as a child, he did not have the awareness that he has today. “Harassment was a normal thing. I remember one time they asked me to be a model, on the street, this scout thing, my mother went with them, stayed in another room. The boy asked to take off her shirt, put on makeup , thought everything was normal. Some time later, I saw the guy on TV getting arrested, he was molesting a girl, and I didn’t even know I was being molested.”
