The presenter said he wanted to spend more time with his family and travel during the indefinite hiatus
The host Bruno di Luca announced, this Wednesday the 6th, that will take a break from his television work. In a video published on his social profile, Bruno cited the troubled year of 2023 and the desire not to miss family moments as justification.
“As you know, I’ve been through a lot this year. These events made me rethink my personal life and also my professional life. And speaking of my professional life, I wanted to say that I decided to take a break, take some time to “I want to stay away from my television commitments for a while, I don’t know how long,” he said.
“I’ve been working non-stop since I was 10 years old and I don’t want to lose any part of my life that I think is important, like this,” he continued, showing off his daughter, who appears in the background in the recording. Bruno is the father of little Aurora, who recently turned 1 year old.
The presenter also stated that during this break he wants to take the opportunity to travel a lot. He also said that he intends to keep an open channel of dialogue with his followers, even away from television.
The accident of Bruno and Kayky Brito
The second half of this year, for Bruno de Luca, was marked by the accident that the actor Kayky Brito, his friend, had while the two were in a kiosk in Rio de Janeiro. The presenter’s behavior at the time of the accident was questioned on social media and also by the Court itself.
In October, the Court of Rio de Janeiro accepted the request of the Public Prosecutor and sentenced Bruno De Luca to answer for not having helped Kayky Brito. The crime is provided for by article 135 of the Penal Code. De Luca is accused of not having helped the actor after he was hit in Barra da Tijuca, in the western area of Rio.
