Since Princess Charlene returned to Monaco in March of this year, increased attention has been riveted to her person. And not by accident. Fans of the royal family, who have long suspected that everything is not so smooth in the relationship between Charlene and her husband Albert II, and in each new public appearance of the princess they are looking for confirmation or refutation of their conjectures.

So, for example, the gloomy outfit and tired expression with which the princess appeared last Thursday on the balcony of the Palace during the Catholic festival of Corpus Christi was regarded by the inhabitants of Monaco as a sure sign of coldness in the relationship of the royal couple. But it seems that not only they made the appropriate conclusions, but also the princess’s stylists, who the next day tried to correct the situation. And they did brilliantly.

At the opening of the 61st Monte Carlo TV Festival, Charlene appeared in a dazzling one-shoulder emerald-colored Lanvin dress with romantic ruffles along an asymmetrical hem. The princess’ outfit, worth £2,670 (about 188,000 rubles), was inspired by the archives of the fashion house, and diamond waterfall earrings and gold stilettos added extra sparkle to the look. Charlene smiled at the photographers, while her husband at that time held her hand or hugged her waist – a rare display of feelings in public for the royal family.

Recall that the other day Albert II frankly spoke about family life with Princess Charlene. The prince admitted that during the separation from Charlene, they often called up and were able to save the family.

Earlier, rumors about discord in the princely family and a possible contract between the spouses were widely discussed in the media. Allegedly, Charlene again began to appear in public because of an agreement between her and her husband – for 12 million euros a year, she will accompany Albert at all public events and create the appearance of a strong marriage. Note that the Prince’s Palace of Monaco did not respond to these publications. But Charlene herself at the end of May publicly denied rumors of a breakup with Albert.

Recall that the 44-year-old Princess Charlene of Monaco left the country in February 2021. When her mission in South Africa was completed, Her Ladyship was unable to return home. As Charlene later said, all because of the consequences after suffering an ear infection. Doctors for a long time forbade her long flights because of the pressure in her ears. Since then, Charlene has missed several important events, including the 10th wedding anniversary with the prince, as well as the opening of the Olympics in Japan. However, her husband and children visited the princess twice in South Africa.

In November 2021, Charlene finally returned to Monaco, but a few days later she left the principality again. When asked by journalists, Albert II explained that his wife was “in a secret place” where she would “rest” and recover “from fatigue, including physical fatigue.”

According to a number of European media reports, which have not been refuted by officials, Princess Charlene received treatment at the Paracelsus Recovery, a closed institution located on the lake in Zurich. They provide anonymous and confidential treatment for drug, alcohol and other addictions caused by, for example, medications, eating disorders, and mental disorders.
