Actor Ben Stiller traveled to Poland this weekend to join the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on the border with Ukraine as the war with Russia continues.

In a post shared on his Instagram profile and the UN refugee profile, Stiller was caught in conversations with UNHCR members in Poland. The actor mentions in his caption how he is learning, sharing stories and offering support to those in need.

“I’m here to learn, share stories that illustrate the human impact of war and amplify the calls for solidarity,” he said. “I hope you will follow and share your messages of support, for people who have fled their homes in Ukraine and for people who have been forced to flee around the world. Everyone has the right to seek safety. Whoever he is, anywhere is.”

With the initiative, Stiller joins other celebrities, including Sean Penn, Angelina Jolie and Mila Kunis, who are supporting humanitarian efforts to help the Ukrainian people as the country is attacked by Russia.
