What happened?
Jéssica Vitória Canedo had posted alleged conversations with Whindersson Nunes on social media and died on the 22nd, aged 22. The information was confirmed by friends and the girl’s mother.
A death note was published on the profile of Ines Oliveira, Jéssica’s mother. “It is with regret that we inform you that this morning of 12/22, Jéssica could not resist the depression and so much hatred and died. She will rest today and the burial will take place tomorrow.”
In the week before her death, alleged conversations between Jéssica and the comedian appeared on the Internet. At the time the girl stated that it was not a real conversation. With the repercussions of the publication of the prints, the girl began to receive attacks online.
Jéssica’s mother even posted a video calling for the attacks to stop, as her daughter was going through problems and suffering from depression. According to her, Jessica had attempted to take her own life a few times.
In a final statement, Jéssica even claimed to be a victim. According to her, preparations had been made to harm her. “The problem is that you are completely crossing the line and for something I didn’t do. All this nonsense involving my name and Whindersson is nothing more than a very boring joke. It was obvious that the intention was to ridicule me, at least same way they have already tried other times”, he complained.
