Monique Evans responds to homophobic comments after posting a video with her girlfriend: “I could sue”

The presenter let off steam on Instagram this Wednesday 3, after posting a video in which she kissed her boyfriend, DJ Cacá Werneck

Presenter Monique Evans said she received homophobic comments this Wednesday 3, after posting a video with his girlfriend, DJ Caca Werneck. She said she was “shocked” by the reaction of some people, who also mentioned her grandchildren.

“I’m a little shocked, because I posted a video with my wife, we’re getting married now, in May,” Monique said. “This year we’re celebrating 10 years together. I posted a video of a simple, basic kiss… there were a lot of nice comments and some homophobic comments,” she said. “I find it strange because on the web there are kisses between men and women all the time, and people comment: ‘shippam?’, ‘Oh, how beautiful’, ‘new couple’. We were simply showing affection,” she said. Watch the video here.

Monique Evans was surprised by the comments that mentioned her daughter, Bárbara Evans, and her grandchildren. “[Alguns comentários] saying that my grandchildren would be ashamed. Well, I have a 14-year-old granddaughter and, gosh, how proud she is of our relationship…she IS very proud, she loves us very much as a couple,” she emphasized.

Monique continues: “Why should Bárbara be ashamed of us? For a kiss? Guys, it’s the most normal thing, it even appears in the soap opera. It’s impossible to understand. At our wedding there will be a kiss and it’s Bárbara who will give me to bring her and my son at the altar. My niece is the bridesmaid. There is no prejudice in the family. You created it. How ashamed would they be of us, 10 years ago together?”

Finally he sent a message: “Now I could report anyone who said disgusting things to us, because this is prejudice,” he declared. “It’s such a beautiful love. It’s very sad to see that there are still people who are prejudiced.”

The presenter also responded to the criticism directed at the transparent top worn by her beloved. “It’s a flag he raises, like: Why can men and we can’t?”

Long time love

Monique Evans and Cacá Werneck started dating in 2014, including the presenter’s tattoo in honor of her beloved. The two briefly split in 2020 and are currently expected to get married in May.
