Anuel would try to keep custody of the daughter he has with Yailin
On January 19, it was reported on “At Home with Telemundo” that Anuel is “seriously thinking fight against legal custodyof Cattleya, who will be one year old next March.
The show quoted “close sources” who claimed that “ This decision was hasty after Yalin removed Cattleya from the care of her grandmother (Wanda Díaz) after Tekashi 6ix9ine’s complaint“.
“Obviously, Anuel is more than determined to take legal action to ensure the well-being of his young daughter,” he assured through the people consulted.
The Puerto Rican did not immediately come out to deny or confirm what was said on the show.
In social networks, Wanda Díaz, mother of Yailinaccused the singer of “taking” the minor: “He took the girl from me where everyone knows I’m the one who takes care of her and I’ve always taken care of her since day one,” the woman wrote.
On January 16, Yailin appeared visibly upset on social media and responded to those who said that his daughter “would be better off” with Anuel.
“Emma” (Anuel) doesn’t even know how tall his daughter is to say that she is better with him. Let him come and look for her then, because when I was alone and had the threatened abortion, I saw no one, nor did he appear himself,” he accused.
“She (Cattleya) is better off with no one, I was the one who gave birth to her,” he insisted.
The Tekashi and Yailin scandal
Anuel’s alleged plans to retain custody of Cattleya come amid his ex-wife’s tumultuous love affair with Tekashi. Both have been charged with alleged domestic violence.
On January 17, The Mexican-born rapper was arrested again in the Dominican Republic is charged with alleged “gender violence” against Yailin and her mother.
According to the Dominican press, the complaint was filed by the artist’s mother at the end of last December and alleged that the singer tried “hang” and “throw the rapper from the second floor”.
The singer is currently in custody in the Caribbean country and it won’t be until next Thursday, January 25, when a judge will decide his legal status.
Yailin started a relationship with Tekashi afterwards Anuel confirmed that he had broken up with her in February 2023. Weeks later it was confirmed that they had begun divorce proceedings after marrying in June 2022.
