The singer is writing a book about her battle with the disease
In the early hours of this Friday, 24th, the instrumentalist Roberto de Carvalho shared on social networks a record made by his wife, singer Rita Lee.
In the image, the rocker appears with short hair, with a cup in one hand and a spoon in the other, while sunbathing. “Sextou”, wrote Roberto in the caption.
After nearly a year of lung cancer, Rita Lee was diagnosed in April this year that the tumor was gone.
More than 30 chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions were performed during the treatment. Her hair was falling out and she was a little weak, but in the end she was fine.
The singer has started writing some notes during the treatment that will become a book in which she will tell about her process of fighting cancer.
