ANNA ASTI: “I am that friend who will always support”

The start of Anna’s solo career was extremely successful – after leaving the popular group last year, she released three songs – and each of them took the lead in the charts. Another win-win move: a duet with Philip Kirkorov. As you know, friendship with Philip for artists is a blessing for a successful creative life.

Anya, congratulations on your debut! Tell us about the new album. How long has he been recording?

Thank you! We recorded it for 7-8 months, my favorite listeners were waiting for new tracks and I wanted to give them the opportunity to hear them as soon as possible, and also to start a concert activity. The album turned out to be very personal, sincere and, I hope, everyone will find their own song in it. The main thing I wanted to say in it is that I continue to be for my fans the same friend who will support in a difficult situation and help find the strength to go further through life with her head held high.

The author of many songs was Dima Loren, your close friend. Is there any song that has a special meaning for you?

Yes, 80% of the album is Dima’s songs. We have such a connection with him, as if in a past life we ​​were one person, and in this one he was divided into two halves, who still found each other. No one can convey my thoughts in songs better than him, even myself. You can be convinced of this by listening to the track “Anechka” – exactly a year ago, on June 24, Dima gave it to me for my birthday. This song is about me. One of the few on the album that I could not record for a very long time, because, starting to sing these lines, I started to sob and could not stop.

How did you and Dima meet?

On my anniversary two years ago. Since then we have become close friends.

Now is a very active period in your career, you have broadcasts, performances, filming and interviews almost daily. When is a respite, vacation supposed?

So far, to be honest, there was no opportunity to think about it, since there are a lot, as you could correctly notice, of activities that I have just started. In addition, I really missed the concerts and want to go on tour. For me, this is also a kind of vacation – communication with my favorite listeners, whom I really haven’t seen for a long time.

How are you planning to celebrate your birthday?

Today, in addition to becoming one year wiser and more experienced, my first and long-awaited solo album was released. And in the evening I want to share these two events with my beloved colleagues, partners and make a small holiday for them. By the way, I’m waiting for you too, don’t be late. (Laughs).

We will definitely come! And what format of birthday celebration is ideal for you? What would you like, but now it is impossible for various reasons, for example, due to a busy schedule.

I really love homemade feasts, when I myself come up with and develop a menu. If I ever write a book, it will definitely be a recipe book! (Laughs). When relatives and friends are nearby, everyone is relaxed, enjoying each other’s company and sharing positive emotions and mood. But from the moment I met my husband, my birthday has always been a mysterious day for me, which begins with surprises and ends with them. I never know until the last what will be on my holiday. Stas always tries to surprise me and for the past three years he has succeeded.
