Jojo Todynho denies receiving a call from Bolsonaro and says he will not run; clock

The singer denied the rumors on social media, saying she doesn’t have time to make another commitment

Jojo Todynho has denied rumors that he received a call from Jair Bolsonaro with an invitation to pursue a political career. The singer used Instagram stories to deny the information and denied any involvement with politics this Monday 4th.

“Let me clarify the smokescreen you invented: I did not speak to Bolsonaro on the phone at all. I don’t apply for anything. I don’t even have time for myself, let alone running for office”, guarantees Jojo.

The funk singer has already been described by her ex-husband, Lucas Souza, as a “first-class scholar”. Even so, she said they were all just rumors.

“People have nothing left to invent, because they really have nothing to say about me. What will they say? ‘Ah, Jojo is big’? News. Everybody knows. There is nothing to invent about me, so they will talk nonsense,” he says.

Despite the rumors, Jojo said that a person she considers her “heart father” will run for city councilor in Rio de Janeiro, but that she has no connection to the choice.

“Whoever is running is my father by heart. It has nothing to do with me. He comes to be a city councilor. Which party he comes from or doesn’t come from, it’s his choice, it’s his problem. As his daughter, I can only support him and wish him all the success in the world on his journey. I have nothing to do with politics, to tell you that it is a closed matter”, he concluded.
