Xuxa talked about a request she made to her ex-boyfriend
Xuxa Meneghel she recalled the last contact with her ex-boyfriend, the pilot Ayrton Sennawhose life was tragically cut short during a race in Italy in 1994.
In a documentary titled Sullivan and Masadas: portraits and songs, a Globoplay original production, Xuxa shared an intimate part of her story. He revealed that he had begged the driver to withdraw from the fateful ride during a telephone conversation.
“We recorded all week. CARAS magazine was out on Saturday at the time. Sullivan showed it and said, ‘Did you see that Senna sent a message? [na revista] for you?’. And in the studio I said that I would follow him on Monday”He said.
And he concluded: “On Saturday I said I would follow him on Monday. On Sunday he died. That still sticks in my head. That day we recorded until three in the morning and I was woken up at race time with several people calling me saying that Senna had had the accident.”
