A surprised Ricky Martin attended the premiere of his co-star ‘Palm Royale’ at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills with his two oldest children, Matteo and Valentino, on March 14.
While promoting the said program, the singer talked about the good bond he maintains with the 15-year-olds.
“I like that we are so united and that they ask all the questions they need to ask, the answers are transparent and true,” he said in an interview for Despierta América on March 13.
The actor also pointed out that the twins are taking care of their younger siblings, LucÃa (5) and Renn (4): “They love them.”

Ahead of his appearance with Matteo and Valentino, Ricky Martin was asked if, at 52, he “has plans to grow his family.”
“But there are 4 (children), stop! I’m fine, calm now. I think now (no more)”, he answered in an interview for Televisa Espectáculos on the same day of the event for his “show”.
The “Vuelve” singer, however, shared that his children motivate him on a daily basis: “They are my north. “I wake up in the morning and it’s my caffeine.”
“I brought them into this world because I wanted with all my might to have them,” said the star of “Reaching a Star II,” a soap opera that can be seen here on ViX.
In August 2020, the Puerto Rican confessed that he really doubted that his desire to have children would ever come true.
“For many years I dreamed of being a father and many, many, many times I went through this grieving process: ‘I’m gay, I’m a closeted gay, and I’m not going to be able to be a dad,'” he told Out magazine.
Martin entered fatherhood in 2008 after the arrival of Matteo and Valentino. She also shares LucÃa and Renn, born in 2018 and 2019 respectively, with ex-husband Jwan Yosef.

In an independent conversation with Linet Puente, journalist of “Ventaneando”, Ricky Martin talked about his divorce with Jwan Yosef, which he announced in July 2023.
“It’s never easy. Any breakup is difficult, but I think it was something that had to happen,” said the Puerto Rican artist.
Although they are no longer united as a couple, they are going out of their way to support LucÃa and Renn, who, according to People in Spanish, they will legally have joint custody of.
“Today, my ex-husband and I have a wonderful relationship. “We are raising two children together,” said the actor.
