Preta Gil shared the feat on social media
After cancer remission, Preta Gil celebrated, this Monday 8th, the growth of her hair almost a year after the end of chemotherapy.
The 49-year-old singer is wearing hairpieces for now. As her locks grow, she showed off hairstyles she can create with her hair. In a video, the daughter of Gilberto Gil I noticed a detail and got excited.
“I wanted to share something really beautiful with you. My hair is growing and there’s a part of it behind it that isn’t applied. Look here, can you see it? It’s growing curly. Wow, look at a little curl here. Guys, look This!”she said, impressed.
Preta Gil was diagnosed with bowel cancer in early 2023 and underwent chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery to remove the tumor.
