The film about the host’s kidnapping will be released in theaters on September 5
The kidnapping of Silvio Santos shocked the country in 2001. At the time, criminals held the presenter hostage in his own home, days after his daughter experienced the same incident. Now, the film that tells the story of this crime will be in theaters, scheduled for release in September.
In “Silvio”, Rodrigo Faro played the role of the presenter. The actor, in fact, had been away from film sets for 15 years and had secured the role of the protagonist.
Additionally, Johnnas Oliva will play kidnapper Fernando Dutra Pinto. Outside of fiction, the criminal was arrested after negotiations and died due to cardiorespiratory arrest resulting from bacterial pneumonia in prison.
Subsequently, Polliana Aleixo was responsible for playing Silvio Santos’ heir, Patrícia Abravanel. It is worth mentioning that the presenter experienced the same father problem as her. However, she spent approximately seven days in captivity, a week before the crime with the owner of the SBT.
