Through social media, Record mourned the passing of the professional. “Investigative journalist Afonso Monaco died this Friday (12) at the age of 78 after a long battle with cancer. Monaco has been part of the @domingoespetacular team, of RECORD, since the first day of the program“, they wrote.
Also noteworthy are the journalist’s passages inFantastic‘ AND ‘Rural globe‘, both from TV Globo. With more than 50 years of career, the journalist participated in the coverage of the girl’s disappearance Madeleine McCann in 2017.
According to the family of the journalist’s communicator, the funeral wake will take place this Saturday, the 13th, from 2pm to 6pm, in Sao Paulo. Friends and relatives are present for a final farewell.
