Zach Norman, famous actor who appeared in such productions as “The Babysitter”, “Romancing the Stone” and “Baywatch”, has died at the age of 83.
The producer and comedian also died Sunday night, April 28, of natural causes at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, LA, according to The Hollywood Report.
Lori Zucker Briler, the artist’s daughter, paid a heartfelt tribute to him in a Facebook post, including a family photo and portrait of him.
“Wherever you went, I know it all came. You were the most enigmatic person wherever you went. The best father, husband, grandfather, friend,” he noted.
“You brought so much laughter and so much enrichment to all of our lives. There are no words to explain how much we will miss you. Go do your job. Well done to you always. “I love you forever,” he concluded.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his sister Jane. his daughters Lori and Tracy; his sons Stephen and Michael; and her grandchildren Sascha, Addison, Benjamin, Henry, Liliana, Jonathan, Justin, Jayden, Jackie, Gabrielle, Rachel, Susie, Joseph and Seth.
Who was Zach Norman?
Zack Norman, whose original name was Howard Zucker, was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Before pursuing acting, he attended Governor’s Academy and Vanderbilt University and earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
During his extensive career, which began in the 1960s, he first worked as a comedian and entered television in 1969 when he performed monologues on “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson.
He also produced John Arden’s “Live Like Pigs,” a long-running drama that opened off-Broadway in 1965.
In 1981, he played a role in Milos Forman’s Ragtime. By 1984, she appeared with Danny DeVito in Robert Zemeckis’ Romancing the Stone, before starring in Robert Downey Sr.’s America. in 1986.
Already very famous, in 1990 Norman co-starred in ‘Cadillac Man’ alongside legends Robin Williams, Tim Robbins and Fran Drescher.
Three years later, he teamed up with Dresser again when he appeared in the TV series The Nanny, playing his uncle Jack for three episodes.
Meanwhile, she also appeared in shows like ‘Baywatch’ and ‘The A-Team’ during the 1980s and 1990s.
