6-year-old son dead and ex-husband in serious condition: the tragedy that struck the actress of the soap opera ‘Floribella’

A real tragedy happened in the life of Venezuelan actress and singer Mariana Derdarian in the early hours of last Thursday (09). A fire engulfed his house in Santiago, the capital of Chile, and killed his youngest son, Pedro, only 6 years old.

Around 2am (3am Brasilia time), Mariana woke up to find the house full of smoke. She managed to save her eldest daughter, Leticia, 9 years old, but when she tried to capture her youngest, the place was already engulfed in flames, making it difficult to access the little girl.

Mariana contacted her ex-husband and father of the children, journalist Francisco Aravena, to help save Pedro. Separated for about 5 years, the two had shared custody of their children. However, due to the protective bars on the bedroom window, he was unable to even catch the boy, who died on the spot.

Francisco suffered burns and is in a medically induced coma in a hospital in Santiago. The condition is considered serious. Mariana and Letícia were also treated and then released without complications.
