Madonna celebrated mothers day this sunday (12th) with a touching tribute to her mother and to their six children: Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy, Stella and Estere. In a long text, the singer reflected on what it was like to live with the heirs during “The Celebration Tour”which ended with an apotheotic show on Copacabana beach at the beginning of the month.
“I became very close to my children during this tour. We clung to each other. In the long hours I worked and fought. They helped me manifest my dreams. In the chaos and the storms. In the monotony and in repetition. The sleepless nights and the infinite. Packing and unpacking. All the sacrifices we have made together.
Our Lady spoke of the passage of time, highlighting the different paths that each of her children chose. “Nowadays all my children sleep under the same roof, which is rare and comforting. They grow very quickly and go in different directions and, yes, I have a hard time letting them go,” she confessed.
