Ana Gabriel took to social media again to report it his health condition worsened after being diagnosed with the flu on May 14 following her performance at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile.
The “Simply Friends” singer posted a new recording on Instagram in which she appears from the hospital where he is being treated for pneumonia.
“The flu got complicated and turned into pneumonia. By medical order I must remain calm. “Unfortunately it got complicated, maybe I felt brave and didn’t pay attention to the medical instructions,” he said.
The singer indicated that she should remain on full rest under medical supervision, so the concerts she had planned for these days in Chile and Paraguay will be rescheduled for June 7 and 11 respectively.
“I regret to inform you that tomorrow’s dates (May 20), Movistar Arena have been postponed again to June 7 and Paraguay to June 11, Brazil is still on if the doctors give me the green light. Thank you all and I apologize for the inconvenience I caused you,” he wrote next to the recording.
He stressed that his priority for now is to recover his health so that he can complete the tour he has agreed to until the end of the year, for which he thanked the audience for their support.
“Thank you for your understanding, don’t let go of my hand please I love you, thanks for the support, but for my health I have to take care of myself,” he concluded.
On May 15, the Mexican artist also reported on social networks about her emergency hospitalization. He was diagnosed with the flu.
“I tested positive for the flu. I’m so sorry to tell you that it was a lot of effort for me tonight, but you filled me with love that I made it out, not the way I’d like, not the way you deserve.” she said on that occasion.
According to information released by local media outlet CHV Noticias, the 68-year-old singer received medical attention during her concert in Chile on March 14. They claimed that during the performance he left the stage several times to rest and get oxygen.
