The actress and player exchanged insults this week after Luana took a stand against the proposal; the surfer’s team has not yet commented
The actress Luana Piovani spoke again about the “PEC das praias” in a video recorded and published on Instagram this Saturday 1. She, with whom she also exchanged insults Neymar because of the proposal, she demanded a position from her ex-husband, the surfer Peter Scoobyfriend of the player.

In the video, the actress thanked the people who defended her during the argument with Neymar. “The things that happen on social media don’t interfere with my life, thank God,” she commented, saying that the audience who will watch her in the theater are not fans of the athlete.
Then, Luana mentioned Scooby. “I want to know what Pedro thinks, because he is a friend of the ‘ignóbil’, but he lives on the beach. Is he for or against the privatization of the beaches, this PEC? Aren’t you curious to know? I am”, she said.
A Proposal for Amendment of the Constitution (PEC) 3/2022, currently under discussion in Congress, shifts responsibility for marine construction to the private sector. Approved by the Chamber of Deputies, it now passes to the Senate.
The PEC proposes to remove from the Union exclusivity over land in coastal areas, such as beaches and the edges of islands. These areas belong to the Union but, if the proposal came into force, ownership would pass to the private sector for a fee.

Understanding the clash between Luana Piovani and Neymar
On Thursday 30th Luana Piovani released videos online in which she asked to oppose the PEC. “Remind them that everyone must vote against the privatization of the beaches. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is 2024 and we have already reached that point. Remember I said it is difficult to be a citizen in Brazil?”, declared the actress on Instagram.
Neymar has been associated with the issue through a partnership signed with a developer, Due, in a project billed as “Brazilian Caribbean”. The project includes high-end properties in an area of 100 kilometers between the coasts of Pernambuco and Alagoas.

In the discussion on social media, the actress and the athlete exchanged a series of insults.
