Lulu Santos, 71 years old, had to cancel the performances scheduled for this weekend due to an attack of acute gastroenteritis. The artist remains hospitalized at the São Vicente clinic, in Rio de Janeiro, where he is convalescing.
He has been diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis, an inflammation that affects the stomach and intestines, as well as having tested positive for influenza A. According to the medical report released by the singer’s office this Sunday (09), he is in “full healing”.
The medical bulletin also specifies that Lulu Santos is hydrated, has controlled abdominal pain, without fever, accepts the oral diet well and should be discharged this Monday (10). The medical team is optimistic about her speedy recovery.
On social media Lulu thanked her for the love and messages of support received from friends and fans. The singer, known for hits such as Tempos Modernos, will perform at two major festivals this weekend: João Rock.
