On the afternoon of June 18, images of the suspect were released, as well as how the man and Verónica de la Rosa arrived at the hotel in a white van.
In the video you can see how they get out of the vehicle, cross the parking lot to get to the front desk, and the “tiktoker’s” mother is said to be asking for a room.
Authorities are looking for the man, who is seen wearing a face mask and hat and is believed to be between 20 and 25 years old.
Derek Trejo demands ‘justice’
The influencer took to social media on June 19 to demand justice for his mother’s murder.
“I want justice in the case of my mother, Veronica de la Rosa. Justice must be served!”, wrote on the social network X.
While on Instagram she dedicated a farewell message to him.
“I have no words to say goodbye to you… I love you, you are and will always be the most important thing in my life. I love you so much mom!”
