Emma Corrin, who won the Critics Choice trophy for her role as Princess Diana in “The Crown,” has taken on a non-binary identity. After subtly hinting at her change, with a description of her pronoun preference on her Instagram profile, Emma admitted to Vogue that she no longer identifies with the female and male gender.
The revelation was accompanied by a photo shoot that reintroduced the former Princess Diana with a neutral and striking look, although the androgynous look exposes a more masculine look.
“In my mind, gender is not fixed and I don’t know if it ever will be. I think I will always have some fluidity. I feel better when they refer to me with neutral pronouns, but my closest friends also use ‘lei ‘, and I don’t care because I know they know me, “he commented in the interview.
Corrin also reprized an old relationship from her past with another woman, but stressed that she doesn’t label her sexuality. “I started dating a girl and I told my mom, then my little brother wrote me, ‘Welcome. I’ve been bisexual for years,'” she recalled.
At 26 he still professed his admiration for the new generation that “expresses itself in a non-binary way in everything”. “They are much more relaxed. We were stuck halfway,” she defined.
Her next film will be “My Policeman”, a drama film in which she plays Harry Styles’ girlfriend, who hides that she is gay. The premiere is scheduled for November 4 streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
