Famous in the last decade as a cover of Xuxa, the presenter Rodrigo has already appeared on several television channels and, today, conquers his audience on YouTube.

“The path of a Brazilian artist who gets confused with the life of those who dream”: this phrase marks the trailer of the film “When the light goes out”, one of the various contents that Rodrigo Pereira, alias Rodrigo Presenter, has published on his channel on YouTube to tell his story of dreams, struggles and fascination with television.

Rodrigo Presenter may be a name still unknown to the general public. However, For those who are chronically online, the story of this 35-year-old artist marks the meteoric rise of “web celebrities” in Brazil.

From the cover of Xuxa to the YouTuber, he has managed to attract the attention of admirers, haters and from meme collection pages. But after all, who is Rodrigo Presenter? In an exclusive conversation with the Pure people, on the eve of the launch of her web series “Divas Drags que Inspiram”, Rodrigo recalls the details of a journey that lasted 22 years. Find out more!

Rodrigo was born in Balneário Camboriú, in Santa Catarina. Like many children who lived in the 90s, he was passionate about television and fondly remembers a golden decade of Brazilian entertainment.. “With Gugu and Faustão there were Sundays when you needed two TVs on because ‘Domingão’ was wonderful and so was ‘Domingo Legal,’” he recalls.
