The actress and presenter Monica Iozzi She said she was kidnapped during a family vacation in 1982. The destination was Foz do Iguaçu, in Paraná, on the border with Paraguay. Many visitors usually cross the border to visit the neighboring country and the actress’s family was no different. At the time of the incident, everyone was shopping in the malls. “I was seven months old, a lady saw me in my grandmother’s arms and asked me: ‘how cute, can I hold him?’ My grandmother left and in a few seconds the woman disappeared with me,” Monica recalled during her participation in the Portugal Show last Monday, the 15th.

The actress described the widespread desperation and explained that her father was careful to leave the place and noticed that his daughter was still inside the establishment. “My mother fainted and my father, coming from I don’t know where, started screaming and calling the police. He saw that there was only one way out and that no one had come out with me. Then he started jumping over the counters of each stall and, in the fifth store, he found me, in the middle of a pile of boxes.”

He notes that in the meantime they had already changed their clothes. “They found me and I was sleeping, with another blanket already on. They also changed my clothes.”

At the end of the story, host Rafael Portugal joked: “You know what I keep thinking, what if your father took another child? There’s a Paraguayan mother who tells the story… ‘I was selling clothes, a man came in, took my daughter and ran.'”
