However, fatherhood played a significant role in the love of animation: with their 2-year-old son Leo, they watch Despicable Me and Peppa Pig, which Tarantino evaluates from an artistic point of view.
I really like Peppa Pig. I watch it often. I’ll put it this way: Peppa Pig is the biggest British import of this decade.
Now the company of Quentin and Leo is replenished – the other day the director and his wife Daniella had a daughter, whose name they have not yet named – so, the list of Tarantino’s favorite cartoons will be replenished with girly series about fairies and wizards. Whether the director’s new tastes will be reflected in his not at all childish work – time will tell.
Recall that Daniella – the daughter of the famous Israeli singer Zvika Pick – and the cult director first met and began dating in 2009, just at the time when Quentin was promoting his film “Inglourious Basterds”. The lovers got engaged only in June 2017, and tied the knot in January 2018. Two years later, in February 2020, the couple’s first-born son, Leo, was born.
