Geriatrician Victor Dornelas wrote an affectionate text in honor of Silvio Santos, but removed its publication
The Death of the Legendary Silvio Santo last Saturday, 17, had an impact not only on Brazil, but also on the doctors who treated him in the hospital. Among them stands out the geriatrician Victor Dornelaswho wrote a long text on social media paying homage to the eternal icon of Brazilian TV.
However, due to the repercussions, the professional decided to delete the post this Monday 19th. Dornelas was part of the medical team at the Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital, in São Paulo, which was caring for the presenter.
He is also among the doctors who signed Albert Einstein’s medical bulletin that confirmed the cause of death of Silvio Santos, who died of bronchopneumonia, after an H1N1 infection, at the age of 93.
On Instagram, Victor Dornelas talked about the last few weeks spent with «Owner of the trunk‘. “Taking care of you has been the greatest challenge and the greatest privilege I have ever had,” he said in a part of the text.
