Jennifer Lopez has reportedly revealed the reason her marriage to Ben Affleck ended, less than two years after their Las Vegas wedding.
According to TMZ, the singer filed papers to legally separate from the actor on August 20, in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The site clarified that, in said writings, he stated that the exact date the breakup happened was April 26.
The Hollywood stars said ‘I do’ at a ‘Sin City’ getaway on July 16, 2022, after three months of engagement.

On August 23, Page Six offered more details about the contents of the documents, as they claim they had access to them.
It is supposed that on her pages Jennifer Lopez states that the reason for her divorce with Ben Affleck is the “irreconcilable differences”.
He didn’t elaborate, but a source told People in May that the duo’s clashes stemmed from the fact that they have different mindsets about being the center of attention.
On the one hand, she “needs that expression,” but her husband “just doesn’t feel comfortable,” which “causes tension in the relationship.”
“He is more introverted and reserved. She loves to open her heart to her fans and the world. This makes them significantly different and it was difficult in daily coexistence,” the informant said.
The director himself spoke about it in the past, during his appearance in the actress’ documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told”, which was released in February.
“When we got back together I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a social media romance,'” she said.
“Then, I realized it’s not fair to ask. “It’s like if you were to marry a captain and say, ‘Well, I don’t like the water,'” she admitted.
So far, ‘Bennifer’, as the couple is known, has not confirmed any of the reports surrounding their alleged crisis.

According to Page Six, in addition to filing with the authorities for the dissolution of her marital relationship with Ben Affleck, the “Bronx Diva” also requested that his last name be removed from her name.
After their marriage, she legally swapped Jennifer Lynn López for Jennifer Lynn Affleck, in what she later called a “romantic” and “traditional” act in an interview with Vogue.
“We are husband and wife. I’m proud of that. “I don’t think it’s a problem,” she said, clarifying that people will continue to know her by her usual nickname.
